As some of you may already know, Mark Jackson was hired by the Golden State Warriors on Monday to replace Keith Smart. The 17- year NBA veteran, and current TV analyst for ESPN and ABC, who has never coached before, will be taking over a team that has made the playoffs just once since 1994.

Now, what you may not know, is that Mark Jackson is actually Pastor Mark Jackson. Together, Mark and his wife Desiree pastor their church,True Love Worship Center International!

As I like to do here on MirraMirror, I had to highlight Mark’s beautiful and talented wife, Desiree, (affectionately known as Pastor Dez.) Desiree has starred on Broadway, had a record deal with Motown, and has been singing gospel music for years!  I remember buying her first gospel album titled, “Sing For Me,” which showcased her ridiculous vocal range. The one time protege’ of Patti LaBelle has a current CD out titled, “My Voice is My Weapon”  which contains the infectious hit, I Want The World to Know.
