Kristen Blake, wife of LA Laker, Steve Blake, recently turned the big 3-0 and celebrated in a major way. Instead of asking for jewelry, shoes, or the latest handbag, Kristen invited family, friends, fans, and everyone else in between, to contribute to her favorite charities through her website, Kristen’s Birthday Wish. What an amazing and creative way to give her loved ones and complete strangers the opportunity to be a blessing to others.

Brandy & Monica: “It All Belongs To Me”
One of our favorite NBA wives, Monica, has paired up with one of our favorite vocalists, Brandy, for a new song entitled, “It All Belongs To Me.” This is the ladies’ first collaboration since their 1998 hit, “The Boy Is Mine.” I wonder what took them so long?? The beautifully shot video debuted last night on VH1 and is dedicated to Whitney Houston. Both women look flawless! So happy to see these two making music together again.

NBA All Star Weekend 2012 Recap
Late last Wednesday night after the Hawks vs. Knicks game, I get a call from my hubby as he’s boarding the plane to return home. “Looks like we’re going to All-Star. We leave Friday morning.” My response… “Well, let me get myself together!” 
After 17 seasons in the league, it was truly an honor for the NBA to invite Jerry to replace the injured Joe Johnson to represent Team Atlanta in the Haier Shooting Stars competition on All-Star Saturday Night. The Shooting Stars competition pairs a current player, a former player, and a WNBA player to represent the city. Teaming up with Steve Smith and Lindsey Harding, Jerry and Team Atlanta competed against Teams from Orlando, Texas, and New York. Even though Team New York (Allan Houston, Landry Fields, Cappie Pondexter) won the competition, we had a ball the entire weekend!
